Erin came into my life several years ago and we quickly became best friends. It is easy to be drawn to Erin. She always has a positive upbeat attitude and loves to make her friends feel special. Erin is always there to offer support in times of need and fun and laughter. Though I have known Erin for four years, it seems like she has been a part of my life forever because of the way she has touched my life.

When I first met Erin, she was preparing to marry the man of her dreams; a loving partner who supports her. Now, Erin has created a family with that man. She is the mother to a two-year-old little boy. And is currently pregnant with a second child due in July. Erin is a mother I look up to; the kind of mother I want to be someday in the future. Her family is her number one priority. A typical night in her house includes things like cuddling and reading books to her child, playing outside, and eating nutritional meals. Erin places an emphasis on the important things in life when it comes to raising family.

In addition to being a mother, Erin spends her days as a middle school English teacher inspiring many students. I have personally witnessed her teaching because she was kind enough to invite me into her classroom while I was becoming a teacher. I witnessed engaging lessons taught by Erin and respect shown to her students. Erin does not just provide support and care to her family, but to hundreds of adolescents.

While being a mother, Erin has still managed to add glamour to her life. Erin is a self-taught makeup artist. She is always willing to teach friends how to use makeup to enhance their natural beauty. I remember quite clearly the day that Erin taught be how to properly put on foundation while we were sitting on the floor of her guest room. She seeks to make all of her friends feel a little pampered. In addition, to helping her friends, Erin has taken on the job of doing bridal makeup on the weekends. It is wonderful to see her help make a bride's day even more special!

This Mother's Day, I think it is Erin's turn to be pampered and to add some extra special glamour to her life. Erin is a loving mother to one toddler and is experiencing the joy of pregnancy again with a second child on the way. “A day of beauty @ the Ulta Spa" would mean the chance for relaxation and a day of glamour which revolved around Erin. I know Erin would be grateful for the chance to relieve some of the discomfort associated with pregnancy and to be honored for her role as a loving mother, wife, teacher, and friend.
